What We Offer

FUNdamental Swimming is a Swim School with two venues in Cape Town, as well as an Online Education Platform. Our Swim Schools based in Claremont and Oranjezicht aim to encourage swimmers of every level and every background to learn, participate and remain in the sport of swimming for as long as possible. The FUNdamental Swimming Online Platform aims to inspire swimming teachers and coaches by offering online courses and videos as a toolkit and resource library.

We operate out of two indoor heated 25m pools. At the Quadrant Complex in Claremont and at St Cyprian’s School in Oranjezicht. At both Cape Town venues we offer stroke development/technical swimming and fitness for children from 5 years old right through to adults.

For younger children still learning the strokes we offer Stroke Development/Technical Swimming where we focus on one stroke per week. We present the lessons as a fun and engaging mini workshops. Fitness sessions are usually 60 minutes with a focus on building stamina and swimming fitness. Private sessions are also available upon request and can be a good way to ease into our programmes or gain confidence in a certain area.
